Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship to most countries internationally. You may find information on the countries we ship to under Shipping and Delivery.

Do you offer free shipping in Singapore?

Yes free shipping is currently available in Singapore for orders exceeding SGD95. For orders less than SGD95, there will be a flat fee shipping charge of SGD8 for local delivery in Singapore. For all other orders outside of Singapore, shipping rates will be charged to cover shipping and handling costs.

How long does it take for my items to reach me?

Orders within Singapore with free shipping would be delivered within 14 working days (excluding public holidays). Orders for international customers with standard shipping would be delivered in 21 working days. You can confirm the number of working days required for your particular order destination under Shipping and Delivery.

Delivery times may be extended during certain peak holiday seasons (e.g. Christmas, Chinese New Year etc.).

How do I place an order?

When shopping on www.miwakuno.com, click on the navigation tabs on the top menu panel (i.e. Customised Dresses, Accessories or Gift a Friend) to view our collection.

Customised Dresses

To create your unique dress, click on Customised Dresses and start creating a dress that is one of a kind.

When you enter, you will see a collection of dress types. Select one dress type that you like and choose a size and proceed to choose the fabric design(s) you prefer for each part (Part A, Part B or Part C) of the dress. For instance for the dress below, Part A and Part B are made of different fabric designs. To proceed to create your very own dress, go to the drop list for Part A and Part B to select your preferred fabric design.

 

If however, you would like to have a dress that has the same fabric design throughout, select the same fabric print for both Part A and Part B of the dress.

Some dresses as shown comes with either a sash or a ribbon as seen in Part C, which you can customise to suit your preference. Click on Part C and select from the drop box to choose a colour of the ribbon or sash that you like.

 

** Do note that for dresses with only a single fabric design and which comes with either a sash or ribbon, the sash or ribbon will be Part B. 

For dresses which are made of only a single fabric design, please select from the drop down list your preferred fabric design choice. Happy creating your very own Miwakuno dress!

When you are ready, you can add the items that you have chosen to your shopping cart or return to the collection to continue shopping. At any point, to return to the homepage you can click on the Miwakuno logo on the top. To complete your order, click 'shopping cart' displayed on the top right corner of the page, and follow the instructions on screen. If you are a new customer, you may register as a member before you can proceed to payment or checkout as guest.

What if the fabric design that I have chosen is out of stock?

While we regularly update the stock availability of our fabric designs, as we have ongoing orders for our apparel and as we generally carry fabric designs in very limited quantities, there is a chance that some fabric designs might be out of stock after you have placed an order with us. Thus, in the event whereby the fabric design which you have chosen is out of stock, we will contact you within 24 hours upon receiving your order to inform you that the fabric you have chosen is out of stock and you will have an option to select another fabric design(s). However, if you prefer not to select another fabric design or if the fabric design is permanently out of stock, we will be happy to refund you in full.

There are some fabric designs which we might restock but as we want to keep our dresses unique, we select fabric designs in limited quantities and generally do not restock our fabric designs.

How do I pay for my purchase and is the payment secure?

At Miwakuno, we work with PayPal as it is one of the most secured online payment platforms around. Once you have confirmed all your purchase details upon checkout, you will be directed to PayPal's SSL-secured site for payment. If you do not have a PayPal account, you can opt to "Pay as Guest" and proceed to enter your credit card details. Otherwise you can create a PayPal account. PayPal allows you to pay for your purchases via your credit or debit card. A confirmation email will then be sent to you once you have made the payment.

Having issues with Paypal payment when your billing address country is different from the delivery address?

We are currently aware of this but unfortunately Paypal has a security feature which blocks payments whereby the billing address country is different from the delivery address. Please note that PayPal requires that the delivery address that you input at their payment page is the same as your credit card billing address. If you are sending a gift to a country other than your country of residence, please note that the correct delivery address will be captured by our system as long as it is filled in correctly at our checkout page.

At PayPal's payment page, please fill in your own address as the delivery address to avoid payment issues. 

Does Miwakuno clothing tend to be large or small?

Our clothes mostly run true to size though every child is unique. Do estimate what size to order for your child by referring to our Size Guide.

Our Size Guide shows height in centimetres (cm) and if your child fits into our range, that should give you a good idea of fit. Measure your child's height in centimetres (cm) if you can as it is more specific than age. If your child is 100 cm, we would recommend size 24-36 months.

Some dress types, however, tend to be loose fit and baggy so we try to include that in our product feature(s) as well.

If, however, your child is in between sizes, do consider choosing one size up as this would mean your child gets to enjoy the Miwakuno apparel longer. 

I am buying a gift, what are the different gift services you provide?

More information on our gift boxes may be found under Gift A Friend. We also provide a card for your special occasions too if you are sending a gift to someone. Do email us at hello@miwakuno.com with your order number if you would like us to include a handwritten card for your friend. 

Unfortunately, we do not ship to multiple addresses for a single order, so if you would like to ship your gifts to various locations, please purchase each gift as a separate transaction.

Can I edit or cancel my order once it has been placed?

At Miwakuno, we want to ensure that all orders are processed and shipped out in a timely manner. Hence, we adopt fully automated systems so that once an order is received, it is sent to our team to be created and sewn. Therefore, we are usually not able to accept changes or cancellations of orders. If you have any queries, please email us at hello@miwakuno.com and we will address your queries as soon as we can.

Can I exchange or return items purchase on this website?

How do I track my package delivery status?

If your package has not been received more than 14 working days after our estimated delivery time for your destination, please email us at hello@miwakuno.com specifying your order number and we will help you check on the delivery status. Please do note that delivery times may vary depending on the country where the goods are shipped to. You may check our estimated delivery time under Shipping and Delivery.

How do I wash and maintain the apparel by Miwakuno?

We strongly recommend following the washing instructions on the care labels of our apparel. Most of our apparel are 100% cotton, which we suggest hand washing in cold water or via washing machine with a low tumble dry setting. Do take a look at our guide on Caring For Your Miwakuno Apparel.

I have not received my order confirmation and I do not seem to receive any email messages from Miwakuno. What can I do? 

Some emails might have been sent to the junk mail folder so do check your junk mail folder and also include our email addresses in your email box too. If, however you still encounter issues, please email us at hello@miwakuno.com and we will be happy to assist.
